Heidi and I are proud to announce the birth of
Allyson Ilene this Monday morning. She checked in at 8:21am,
weighing 8lbs 1oz and measuring 20 inches long.
She is doing wonderful as is mommy and both are resting between
hourly feedings (she's a hungry baby!!).
We thought you'd like to see a couple of pictures.
You'll notice most Zachary hanging around -
he is doing a really good job bonding with
his little (or tiny, as he calls her) sister.

We just got a roll of film from our trip home developed and the pictures turned out so cute. Here are just a few that I had a couple of free minutes to scan in. The first if of Zac's Great Grandma Stonick that he got to see for the very first time when we were home over Labor Day. The next is of the 4 generations of Stonick/Reids. And the last is my little ham looking all cute during feeding time.

We went to the doctor for our 6 month check up and Grandma LoVette got to join us and experience the joys of the 6 month shots. No more until he turns a year old. He weighs...are you ready... 20 lb. 13 oz. and is 29 1/2 inches long. He is a perfect healthy baby boy that is very much enjoying his baby foods. We gave him yogurt today and he LOVES it!!! He is laughing all the time and just thinks he is Mr. Jokester. Here are a few pictures of Zac that show just how big he is getting at 6 months of age. We unfortunately will not have the hard copies of these when we come home in less than a week but will be sure to get them to you as Sears did a really good job! Enjoy and let us know what you think! We are getting excited for everyone to get to see Zac and hold him. Only a few more days!!
See ya soon.

Here are a couple of picture that we just got of Zac and wanted to share
them with you. He is just becoming such a little man.
The last one is proof that Jon does do diapers. (Notice the wet spots on
the front of him...Zac surprise him with a fountain!!!)

We just got a roll of film developed and we had to share a couple of picture with you. The first one is Zac all done up in his camouflage outfit that Grandpa Upton got him. It is an 18 month and we were sure that he wouldn't quite fit in it yet but he just fit. He is ready to go rabbit hunting. The next picture is him all done up in his safari outfit (also 18 months) and ready to hit the bush. He is just such a happy baby. We are having so much fun with him. The last picture is him "finding" his toes. He spends a lot of time doing this now. It is really fun to watch. We went swimming for the first time yesterday and he loved it. He even liked putting his face in the water. What a joy he is to us!!! Be sure to let us know what you think.... Love you all!!

Well we went to the doctor last Thursday for Zac's 4 month check up with the doctor. He got 4 shots this time and only screamed for a minute or so. Just enough for Jon to get the idea of what it is like when he cries in pain. He tried to be brave about seeing him like that but I could see the panic in his eyes. I was just glad that I did not have to face that alone. I only cried a little tiny bit. The doctor said that he is a perfect healthy baby boy. He weighs 19 lb. and is 28 inches long. That keeps him in the 95th percentile. He is now wearing 12 month clothes and is just so cute in all the little outfits. He was out of the 6-9 so quickly that we had to pack some away for the next baby with the tags still on them. He smiles at everything now and is just so much fun. He is still working on the rolling over both ways but will soon have it down pat. The doctor gave us the go ahead to start him on baby foods. This was hard for me as now he is such a little boy and not so much baby anymore. Oh well, time flies when you're having fun. Our first adventure was with rice cereal. It went over very well but I was just amazed at how one little baby can get cereal in so many places. I had to figure out how to get it out of his nose. He was sneezing it out for the rest of the day. Mommy is new at this too so we both are learning. Today we moved on to peas. It was a huge success. We have to keep him on one new thing for 3-5 days to check for any allergic reactions. In a couple of days we are going to move on to carrots. Yum!! Be sure to check out the web site for updates as Todd is working so hard and it seems like making improvements daily, (What a great brother!!!) I am sending you a few picture we just got back today. The first couple are of his first eating experience. The next is him in his new car seat. He only has 3 pounds until he can no longer be in his carrier car seat so we bought this cool little thing. Can't you just see him in a little while with a McDondald cup in the cup holder and a few French fries beside it asking me, "Mom, I need a napkin." We did have to buy a 3rd car seat after this one though because we learned that he has to be rear facing until he is a year old. They don't make too many rear facing car seats that go over 20 lb. so we really had to search to find one. We finally did and it goes up to 35lb. Hopefully he won't go over that before he turns one. Well just a quick note to keep you up on our adventures in Zachary land. We both are loving it and would really love to have visitors (hint! hint!) so feel free to drop by anytime....
